Note: when purchasing internationally from the United States, many photographers do not realize that they may have to pay Taxes, VAT, or Duties or Customs fees in order to take delivery of products into their home country. These fees, combined with international shipping costs, can be very significant. In most cases, buying products from a Think Tank Photo retailer close to, or in, your country is less expensive than shipping from the USA.
Prices displayed on our website
The retail prices shown on the USA website are in US dollars and do NOT include:
- Tax (VAT / GST). This fee usually ranges between 3% – 25%.
- Duty fees that may have to be paid when importing the product for textile products. These fees usually range between 3 – 18%.
- Shipping - the cost to ship it to your country.
- The fees your bankcard company may charge for converting your currency to US dollars.

Acceptance of Orders
You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order (Order) with Think Tank Photo. We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your Order. If you complete your Order and then notice that the address details are incorrect, please contact us immediately.
Your receipt of an order confirmation does not indicate our acceptance of your Order and it does not confirm our offer to sell. We have the right to accept or decline your Order at any time. All Orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any Order.
In the event of an error, cancellation of an Order will be effective whether or not the Order has been confirmed and your payment (credit/debit) card charged. If your payment card has already been charged for the purchase and your Order is cancelled, we will issue a credit to your payment card account in the amount of the charge in US dollars.
Prices displayed on the Site are shown in U.S. dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change at any time.
Delivery and other charges will be charged in addition to the price of the products.
Unless otherwise stated, any accessories or photo/video equipment shown in any image of products are not included in the price.
You must pay for products at the time of placing your Order using the Site. We accept Visa or MasterCard.
Upon receiving your Order we carry out a standard pre-authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to complete the purchase transaction. Products will not be shipped until this pre-authorization check has been completed. If the issuer of your payment card does not authorize payment for any reason, then you will be notified prior to completing your purchase in the checkout stage of the Site. Your account will be charged once the Order has been accepted.
We do not convert the total price of Orders into currencies other than US dollars (USD). We will bill your payment card account in U.S. dollars and the card company will convert the charges for you. If you have any questions about currency conversions please contact your bank or financial institution. The actual price charged will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit or debit card company.
You may also be liable for customs and import duty, quotas, permits, VAT, product restrictions and other local requirements. Any such charges are your responsibility. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Therefore we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order.
The Site does not store your payment card details; they are transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Database. When placing an order, you represent that you are an authorized user of the payment cards used to place your order. If you are not the cardholder listed on the payment card, do not make a purchase using the Site.
Returns & Warranty Issues
If you receive any products that you are unhappy with, you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt and we will provide you with a refund (in USD) for the purchase price of the item. The refund amount may be less than you paid for the product due to currency rate fluctuations and the refund does not include any delivery costs.
All items returned to us must be returned in original condition. You are responsible for costs of returning the item. We recommend using FedEx to return items.
If you have received a product, which you think may be faulty or defective, contact us at email@example.com to find out if the issue may be covered by our warranty policy. Please read our No Rhetoric Warranty for our policy concerning the return of defective or faulty products.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, damage to photo/video/electronic equipment, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of or related to your use or inability to use our products, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Shipping & Delivery
We endeavor to process your Order within 24-48 hours of it being placed.
Once an order has left our facility, it is in the care of FedEx or another shipper. We are not liable for any errors made by these services. Any problems associated with the timely delivery of your Order should be referred to your designated shipping company.
