Perfect for travel – does not look like a traditional camera backpack
Security cable & combination lock allows you to lock the laptop case or to immovable objects. This security cable is very effective when you have to leave your gear for a period of time in a media room, wedding hall, hotel room, or other open area.
With the new front flap with security clip, you can turn your back on your backpack safe in knowing that your laptop case is secured to your backpack.
Feature #4 Unlike other photo backpacks, when the laptop case is removed, the main backpack reduces both in size and weight, which can be critical when getting your gear onto aircraft of different makes.
Feature #5 The Artificial Intelligence 15 laptop case is included. There is an organizer in the front bellowed pocket so bulkier items like an AC adapter can be carried.
Feature #6 If the laptop case is not being used, the front pocket is very useful for jackets, books, and other items that need to be carried.
Feature #7 This size meets all international requirements for carry on size. It will fit into the overhead of almost all planes except small CRJ planes (but it will fit under the seat).
Feature #8 In a pinch, it’s important that that your backpack fits under the seat. Clearance under the seat varies from 8.5 – 10.5” depending on the plane. In this photo, the laptop case is in the front pocket.
Feature #9 When you arrive at your seat, pull the laptop case out, put the backpack in the overhead, and then sit down.
Feature #10 Although the backpack easily fits into the airline boxes (without the laptop case inserted), very few passengers are actually requested to do so. Usually the total weight of the backpack is the greater potential problem. By storing the small laptop case under your seat you will have access to the items you need during your flight.
Feature #11 The inside depth is 6.5”, so there is no problem putting pro-size DSLRs inside of the bag, with or without the lenses attached. A special horizontal divider is provided that allow the lens to be attached or detached from the DSLR.
Feature #12 This photo shows a 400 2.8, but it will also hold a 500mm lens. As you can see in the photo, there is still room for plenty of other items, including two pro-size DSLRs.
Feature #13 The inside flap has see-through laminated mesh pockets for various accessories such as note pads, energy bars, memory card wallets, instruction books, and other items.
Feature #14 A business card holder is located directly under the padded handle. It can also be used to store extra business cards while traveling.
Feature #15 A zippered top pocket is essential for passports, tickets, and other items that need to be accessed quickly. Especially handy just prior to going through security, all the extra items in your pockets can be put into this top pocket.
Feature #16 Our shoulder harness is specifically designed for photographers, with just the right amount of padding, two stretch pockets on the front, two D rings to attach accessories, and an adjustable sternum strap.
Feature #17 The shoulder straps can be tucked away behind the back pad when not in use.
Feature #18 Both shoulder straps have a stretchable pocket that holds cell phones, sunglasses, memory card wallets, and other items. After the item is removed, the pocket goes flat.
Feature #19 Some photographers prefer waistbelts; others do not. Our waistbelt is removable via a metal buckle located on the pad.
Feature #20 The handle on the bottom of the bag is particularly useful when lifting the bag up to put in into the back of a car or into the overhead compartment of a plane.
Feature #21 A rock-climbing carabiner can be attached to the side strap to attach hats, knee pads, gloves, and other necessary items that may become wet or dirty.
Feature #22 The backpack comes with all the straps and instructions to attach a tripod or monopod to the side of the bag.
Feature #23 The main zipper sliders have metal holes on the front so that a separate lock can be threaded through them. If you are traveling via airline, make sure you buy a TSA approved lock.
Feature #24 The side stretch pocket can also be used for water bottles and other items that need to be carried on the outside of the backpack.

I've been using this bag for 6 months and like it a lot! It's very comfortable, even fully loaded. I travel with it a minimum of twice a month and never had a problem fitting it in the overhead compartment. Get one!

I have the first version and love it. I use it at least once a week mostly for local shoots. It's excellent for air travel; fits great in the overhead compartment. I've had it for a year and a half and it looks like new (except for some stains :) ); very durable.

I just recieved this bag and it is exactly what I wanted. I wanted two bags for my gear. One to store everything in and was portable (backpack) and one for on the go shooting (Urban 35). This bag is perfect for my needs. High quality and great design.

I don't like the clasp design on the laptop compartment.. has popped open on me several times... almost a disaster. Otherwise I agree with the positive comments posted by others.

I agree with the point about the clasp, it would have been better to have the normal prongs and buckle design that you find everywhere on rucsacks etc. The back is very good, I'm not a 100% fan of the elastic pocket for the tripod, the large tripod foot is much better. The card pocket makes using the top handle hard if your card wallet is full. some loops inside to attach card wallets would be good.

I carry a 20D, 5D w/grip, 17-40, 24-105, 70-200, 100-400, a tripod and head (inside the bag...yes, it does fit inside!), flash, filters...ect. Went to New Zealand from Florida and it fit on all the planes, including a small commuter. It is heavy when loaded but still comfortable to hike with.

I sold my Airport Secuirty v2.0 since it was too too big for European Air Travel and got the Airport Acceleration. I use it all the time, can fit an EF500, two dSLRs, EF70-200, flashgun, 4 spare batteries, 2 teleconverters and a MacBook Pro, plus tickets, back-up drive and passport etc. The whole thing weighs just under the American Airline 14kg carry on and I breeze through security! Excellent design and well made.
