Features:
Designed for airport travel, to take the maximum amount of gear possible on the plane as legal carry-on. New security features!
Security cable & combination lock allows you to lock the laptop case or to immovable objects. This security cable is very effective when you have to leave your gear for a period of time in a media room, wedding hall, hotel room, or other open area.
With the new front flap with security clip, you can turn your back on your backpack safe in knowing that your laptop case is secured to your backpack.
Feature #4 Unlike other photo backpacks, when the laptop case is removed, the main backpack reduces both in size and weight, which can be critical when getting your gear onto aircraft of different makes.
Feature #5 If the laptop case is not being used, the front pocket is very useful for jackets, books, and other items that need to be carried
Feature #6 The Airport Addicted will hold a wide variety of digital SLR gear - including 300 and 400 2.8 lenses, and 500 mm lenses with the hood. The backpack comes with a plethora of dividers (more than you could ever use) so that you can customize the interior to fit your gear.
Feature #7 The Artificial Intelligence 15 laptop case is included. There is an organizer in the front bellowed pocket so bulkier items like an AC adapter can be carried.
Feature #8 When you arrive at your seat, pull the laptop case out, put the backpack in the overhead, and then sit down.
Feature #9 The inside flap has see-through laminated mesh pockets for various accessories such as note pads, energy bars, memory card wallets, instruction books, and other items.
Feature #10 A business card holder is located directly under the padded handle. It can also be used to store extra business cards while traveling.
Feature #11 A zippered top pocket is essential for passports, tickets, and other items that need to be accessed quickly. Especially handy just prior to going through security, all the extra items in your pockets can be put into this top pocket.
Feature #12 Our shoulder harness is specifically designed for photographers, with just the right amount of padding, two stretch pockets on the front, two D rings to attach accessories, and an adjustable sternum strap.
Feature #13 The shoulder straps can be tucked away behind the back pad when not in use.
Feature #14 Both shoulder straps have a stretchable pocket that holds cell phones, sunglasses, memory card wallets, and other items. After the item is removed, the pocket goes flat.
Feature #15 Some photographers prefer waistbelts; others do not. Our waistbelt is removable via a metal buckle located on the pad.
Feature #16 The handle on the bottom of the bag is particularly useful when lifting the bag up to put in into the back of a car or into the overhead compartment of a plane.
Feature #17 A rock-climbing carabiner can be attached to the side strap to attach hats, knee pads, gloves, and other necessary items that may become wet or dirty.
Feature #18 The backpack comes with all the straps and instructions to attach a tripod or monopod to the side of the bag.
Feature #19 The main zipper sliders have metal holes on the front so that a separate lock can be threaded through them. If you are traveling via airline, make sure you buy a TSA approved lock.
Feature #20 The side stretch pocket can also be used for water bottles and other items that need to be carried on the outside of the backpack.
Feature #21 This is a classic arrangement for any photographer carrying a 400 f2.8 lens. Sports photographers’ additional equipment typically include two DSLRs, a 70-200 f2.8, 16-35 f2.8, a teleconverter, flash and more. The Airport Addicted easily carries all this gear, as shown.
Feature #22 The Airport Addicted can carry a wide array of general purpose photo equipment with its spacious interior. It is the largest capacity backpack that fits into international carry on size requirements (with laptop case removed). This photo shows two pro size DSLRs, various lenses, a camcorder, and miscellaneous equipment. Carry what you need, wherever you need to travel!
Feature #23 If using a modular belt system, this is an excellent way to transport gear. Lenses and other accessories can be pre-packed inside Modular, Skin or Multimedia components then loaded into the backpack. Maximize interior capacity by using a minimal amount of dividers. The backpack is the “storage and transportation” solution, while the belt system becomes the “working” solution. Upon arrival on location, the components can be attached to a Pro Speed Belt for use out in the field. The backpack can be stored in a secure location until the shoot is completed.

Overall Product Rating:

It's nice for carrying as much gear as you can cram into it, but it can become unbearably heavy if you do so, an optional/detachable wheel kit would be most welcome. No issues in getting it into overhead domestic storage. Despite the weight issue, it's my #1 travel bag.

Holy crap! If I took all the dividers out, I could live in this thing. About the only thing that won't fit is the kitchen sink. I shoot races and other sporting events, some which have a multi-day or multi-week continuous format. I need to have pretty much everything I own with me to cover these. It might be heavy, but it's only one thing to carry, and that makes very, very useful.

As with all people who expect everything without any compromise, ignore the first review. I have travelled with the Acceleration v2 all over the world for the last two years and the design works perfectly as long as your laptop is slim (like a 13"MacBookPro. It's the most versatile travel bag out there, its not designed to be a family car, its a freight truck and it does the job remarkably well. From airport to hotel and back, its huge depth holds pro gear / bodys neatly and swallows a pro-sumer body. Lenses liek the 70-200 f4L IS can be stored end first, you cant do that with Lowepro. Superb design and thinking, its written on tin. This newer version is the result of further refinement. I cant recommend it enough to the right person.

I just returned from a trip to Patagonia, Easter Island and Torres del Paine with this pack loaded with 42 pounds of gear... Nikon F3 bodies, 24-70mm zoom, 80-400 mm zoom, plus Zeiss 21, 35, 100 mm lenses and a Mac Laptop. I all fit well. The only problem is that the waist belt does not provide as much support as needed for this weight (not as good as Lowepro). Improvements in the waist belt would make this superior.

I use two dlsr plus 70-200 and 500 L and other stuff and have always problems two carry it. I solf problem with AA! Great backpack for travel by plane for example. However it will be even better if it will have some strengthened part on the botom.

I have used this for almost two years now, and it still looks new! Very good quality fabric. I have loaded it with a Canon DSLR, 70-200mm 2.8, 200-500mm, 12-24mm, 24-70mm 2.8, several camera batteries and '8'' AA rechargable batteries & chargers, filters, cords, 15" MacBook Pro and all the cords, adapters, etc that go with the laptop. A superb product!

I love this pack! Easily holds a Canon 800mm 5.6L + other gear, or recently had both a 800L AND 500L AND 1DMkIV AND tripod (outside) when I shot the last Space Shuttle launch. In that situation needed another pack for other gear (shapeshifter) which my lovely wife carried. It was heavy but the pack carried well (actually had to run to compete for best location). I'm 61 years old and it did wonderfully. Had room left for a laptop which I left behind.
