a The exterior of each Retrospective shoulder bag is purposefully simple, allowing photographers to inconspicuously blend into their shooting environment.
a The softness and flexibility of the Retrospective 10, 20, and 30 easily allows a pro size DSLR to be carried in the main compartment with a lens attached, facing downward.  The Retrospective 20 is pictured here, containing (left to right):  a Canon 5D with battery grip and 24-70 f2.8 attached and a 70-200 f2.8.  The Retrospective 20 is actually the tallest bag in the collection, which can accommodate a 70-200 f2.8 lens attached to a pro size DSLR body.
a The taller shape of the Retrospective 20 fits a pro size DSLR with a 70-200 f2.8 lens attached, facing downward.
a Within the main compartment are two collapsible nylon pockets (one on each side).  These pockets are tall enough to fit most flash units or other accessories.  A hook-and-loop strap can be used to secure the contents or it can be tucked into the pocket for quicker access.
a The organizer pocket inside the main compartment gives photographers enough space for small accessories necessary for a successful shoot.
a The expandable pocket(s) on the front of the bag can be used to carry a spare pro size DSLR body or other photo gear.  A small hook-and-loop flap folds over the top of the pocket to secure its contents.  The Retrospective 30 (pictured) features two expandable pockets, while the Retrospective 10 and 20 have only one expandable pocket on the front of the bags.
a The "sound silencers" underneath the main flap are used to suppress the loud tearing sound hook-and-loop makes while opening and closing the bag.  Simply release the sound silencer panels and cover the hook-and-loop strips to prevent the hook-and-loop from contacting.  A clear business card pocket, for identification and spare cards, is also located under the main flap.
a Hook-and-loop panels securely fastens the main flap down, keeping valuable photo equipment hidden from view.
a The back storage pocket can be used to carry magazines, newspapers, or other paperwork, depending on the size of the bag.
a Webbing loops on both sides of the bag can be used to carry some smaller pouches.  Alternatively, a carabiner (not included) can be used to quickly clip accessories to the the sides of the bag as well.
a A fully adjustable, canvas strap is integrated into each Retrospective bag.  For extra comfort, a breathable cushioned pad slides along the strap for optimum positioning.  Sections of non-slip material on the pad helps keep the entire strap on your shoulder.
A This bag features a removable carrying handle for your convenience.
a The seam-sealed rain cover included with the Retrospective 10, 20, and 30 was specially designed to keep the carrying handle and integrated shoulder strap outside the rain cover without compromising protection from the elements Please view this instructional video for more information. Love That You Can Quiet The Velcro Closures. Good Looking For Any Formal Event. Comfortable carrying Too! Got mine @ Allen's Camera in Levittown Pa. They have loads of ThinkTank Bags.

small profile bag good for travel a lots of room easy access amazing!!!

My holy trinity of lenses fit in this discreet bag, comfortable all day.

Great build guality. Super accessible to the gear. Looks great, and hides the fact that it's a camera bag. Two drawbacks: 1. no secure closing mechanism, only velcro. No hard plastic on bottom of the bag. If you lay the bag down on hard surfaces often, the material will wear down quickly. Very well suited for walking on the streets and grabbing the camera quickly for photos.

just get the black one from local store. more than i can imagine, look small but fit for my gear, 5DmkII+70-200 lense attached, 24-70, 50mm f/1.2L, 2 flashs & accesories. i like it's heavy duty strap

By far the best bag i´ve ever had. It has a few flaws tough. 1: If you put a small camera in the bag the lid reaches too far down and there is very little velcro contact. I´d like more velcro on the front pocket. 2: The rain-cover is a little tricky to get on. Not great when the rain starts pouring down.

Excellent, durable and solod. I am amazed about all of the little thing included that are a need for any photographer. Small storage places all of over the bag. It is going to be a great day bag over the year. I highly recomend it!

This is my new go to bag. It's perfect for travel. It is extremely comfortable and fits a ton of gear. I can even slide my ipad in the external back pocket. Great functional, comfortable and well made bag. This was my first Think Tank bag. I loved the quality so much I purchased the Airport International rolling bag!

I gave a somewhat scathing review of the Sling-O-Matic 30 and was hesitant to try another bag from Think Tank, but I thought I'd give the Retrospective 20 a shot -- I am very glad I did. Unlike the Sling-O-Matic 30, where I was confused and disappointed in several design choices, the Retrospective 20 is a home run. With the bases loaded. It's intelligent, well-constructed, and stylish to boot. I was hoping it wouldn't surprise me by being too big or too small, and it didn't. It's EXACTLY the right size and format for me. I can carry my Nikon D300 w/ MB-D10 grip, w/ RRS L-plate attached, w/ Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR II attached. And have room for additional lenses and a SB-910. It stands upright with no problems. It secures the equipment with no problems (the velcro on the flap is impressively strong). It has plenty of pockets and space to organize your gear in a logical manner. The strap is not too bulky or too thin. Almost everything with this bag is "just right". The only suggestion I would have is with the padding on the shoulder strap. It fits nice and tight with the sturdy strap and has a nice rubberized bottom to keep from slipping on your shoulder... but, I would imagine many users are like me and plan to access the gear out of the bag. This requires (especially when carried messenger style across your body) that you slide the bag from back or side to front. This action causes the strap pad with it's rubberized bits to grab and pull your shirt or, if you lift the bag while sladding the shoulder pad is left out of position. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a portion of the strap with a glide-friendly surface that extends perhaps 4" either side of the should pad? Then the should pad could stay put and the strap would glide effortlessly through the pad while moving the bag from back to front and front to back. That would be the only possible improvement I could see added to this wonderful design. Bravo for a job well done! I am very pleased with my Retrospective 20.

Great, great bag. I've had mine for four or five months now, I can fit my 5D Mk III, 24-70, 70-200, a 50mm, three flashes, wireless triggers , cards, batteries and a handful of accessories. It's comfy and very well built, impressively so. I can't imagine using another bag, I came from Lowepro and I haven't looked back.

Superb bag that holds far more than it would appear to. Well constructed and thoughtfully designed. The pricing differential between the US and Canada is a bit outrageous though.

I am writing from Russia. Excuse my English. Bag of excellent quality. After a month of using the shooting hand meet the right department intuitively. However, the top handle bags seems too thin. I would prefer to have a hard bar under the handle. Then, when you carry a hand bag will be similar to the portfolio. When visiting the inspirational events is more convenient.
