a The Retrospective Lens Changer 3 has three separated lens compartments for rapid access and easier storage.  Each compartment can accommodate a 70-200 f2.8 with its lens hood reversed.  Shown here (left to right) is a 17-40 f4 with hood in position, a 70-200 f2.8 with hood reversed and a  a 24-70 f2.8 with hood in position.
a Opening the zippered pocket on the back of the Retrospective Lens Changer 2 and Retrospective Lens Changer 3 (shown) reveals a built-in organizer for pens, spare batteries, memory cards and other sundries.
a A small accessory pocket with a hook-and-loop enclosure is located on the front of one of the lens compartments.  This a convenient place for lens caps, a cleaning cloth, or a Pixel Pocket Rocket memory card wallet.
a The seam-sealed rain cover for the Retrospective Lens Changer 2 and Retrospective Lens Changer 3 are specially designed to keep the integrated shoulder strap exposed while protecting your valuable photo gear from the elements.
a A fully adjustable, canvas strap is integrated into each Retrospective bag.  For extra comfort, a breathable cushioned pad slides along the strap for optimum positioning.  Sections of non-slip material on the pad helps keep the entire strap on your shoulder.
a The "sound silencers" underneath the main flap are used to suppress the loud tearing sound hook-and-loop makes while opening and closing the bag.  Simply release the sound silencer panels and cover the hook-and-loop strips to prevent the hook-and-loop from contacting.  A clear business card pocket, for identification and spare cards, is also located under the main flap.
a Hook-and-loop panels securely fastens the main flap down, keeping valuable photo equipment hidden from view.  (Retrospective 30 is shown here)

I can't wait to get this bag...it is EXACTLY what I want to use for my work!

Even better than I had hoped! Beautiful construction, plenty of room for both fast primes and fast zooms. The silent mode works like a charm -- this will be may main working bag for weddings and portraits. The strap is padded and allows the bag to hug your side allowing for easy access to lens. A great great bag!

Looks great. I want one. Thanks to Paul Gero for posting a quick video review of this on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btqQrPTZHYE

This bag is superp. The construction is excellent with great features. I love the velcro silencers...very useful during the wedding ceremony. Plenty of room in the bag for all my fast primes lenses. I highly recommend this bag.

I've been using the Retrospective LC3 for a few months now, and it's hands down the best bag I've had yet for lens changing use. I had the shoot sac for awhile, and it was always inviting me to wrestle with it at the most inconvenient moments. And the strap was awful. For my needs I need a bag that can help me switch lenses fast, and isn't bulky. I tried the Retrospective 30, and it wasn't fast enough when dropping lenses in and out, and it was bigger than I needed for this type of bag, so I swapped it for the LC3 and never looked back. With the LC3 I can quickly drop lenses in and out of the three tube like compartments because they hold their shape well. With the Retro 30 the lenses would catch on the inside of the compartments, and the bag would lose it's shape when filled. (This fine for a regular bag, but not for a lens changer) I clip a pouch for the flash to the bag, and on rare occasion, I'll strap a large pouch for an additional lens. The non slip strap is excellent, and the zippered pouch in the backside of the bag is really well designed. The only thing I wouldn't mind seeing is a bit of padding for the lens tubes. (Like a beer coozy) This would add more protection if the bag is dropped or bumped around. The extra bulkiness I don't think would be a problem. Lastly I wish the inside flap was black, but this is a very minor cosmetic detail. Great bag, highly recommend it!!

Everything positive you read about this bag is true. What is a "sleeper" feature is how many accessories (such as filters, white balance tools, lens cleaning tools, etc.) you can store in the large compartment opposite of the lens storage area. For almost a year, I have traveled with this bag, holding at least three lenses and a strobe in Thailand, Laos, Korea and Ireland, in all kinds of weather. And this bag has never failed me. It not only holds much more than it appears, it carries a lot comfortably and discreetly.

This is a very versatile bag, allowing me to carry more lenses than what I used to carry on a belt and two lens pouches. It's very comfortable to wear for extended periods, and as mentioned in other reviews, the velcro silencers are great! On weekdays (when not shooting weddings) I use the LC3 to carry my external hd and other misc items. Wish I had gotten this bag months ago!

I bought the shootsac thinking that it was the way to go for ease on a shoot, but my 70-200mm was just too tight and the bag, although super cute, didn't deliver. I found this bag and it's the bomb! Love the handle at the back, perfect for picking up the bag out of the back seat. Shoulder strap is the most comfortable one I've ever used. The spaces for the lenses and their hoods are perfect. The back zipper compartment is just right for my shoot moleskine, batteries, etc. It's stylish in it's own right, but it's usefulness and well thought out design performs for itself. My photog buddies are leaving their shootsacs at home and purchasing this little beauty. Well done, ThinkTank!!!!
