I received my Sub Urban Disguise 30 through a contest by Thinktank Photo. The SubUrban Disguise 30 is a no frills, all essential, and simple bag. It is one of the lightest weight bag I have. And I have too much Thinktank bags. The bag feels lighter but is constructed in the same Thinktank quality way. The front flap has a zippered space which you can place things such as batteries and other small essentials. There are two elastic side pockets. When you open the top part it opens away from you. I think this is a great feature in that it enables you to have easy access to your gear. There is also a netted pouch which you can store other things like filters. The main flap is closed with velcro. The only thing is that they did not include a silencer. This is ok because the way you access your gear is through the top and with the top opening away from the body this makes it easy to access. The amount of gear you can put into the bag is dependent on how you configure the padding. How it came it is chambered into four compartments. One side was flatter. I was able to insert a flash with more room on the side for maybe accesories. The middle compartment was divided into two chambers in which you can take off the divider and insert a longer lens attached to the body. The larger compartment can take a good size lens. Currently I have a flash on the left compartment, an 85 1.4 lying side ways in the middle with the divider over it. A Nikon D800 with the 24 1.4 G in the middle top. I have a 14-24 in the right compartment with space towards the top. The bag is well-suited for me for carrying light. You can probably carry two bodies but with the loss of a lens or flash. I like the bag a lot. It fits a special need and purpose. I would think this bag is great for walking around in the city. I forgot to mention that there is a compartment or slot for an ipad in the back of the bag. So its perfect for shooting then going to Starbucks to rest while playing with your Ipad. Great job Thinktank!

This bag is great! I've had it now for about 1 month and I take it everywhere with me. I can fit my Nikon D800 with 16-35mm attached along with my 60mm Micro, 24-85mm and Lensbaby Composer Pro lense. It took some trial and error arranging the removable compartment dividers to get the setup I like and to accomodote for my rig, but I achieved it and love how accessible everything is. Having a designated spot for my iPad is a huge addition as well. The bag is light and comfortable. The two storage compartments are key for caring around additional accessories (i.e. filters, remote cable, cords, etc...) Thinktank is at the top of their game and I wouldn't recommend any other brand.

I just received this bag a few days ago and I am very pleased with it. It isn't as big as my Speed Racer bag but it still hold a lot of gear. I carry a D80 with 18-70,a 70-300, 35f/1.8, a 50f/1.8 and an SB-800 flash with cords and batteries and chargers, plus my IPad. The material and quality is excellent.

I own an Urban Disguise 50 V2 and am quite satisfied with that bag. Since I need a smaller and lighter bag for daily use, I buy this. In short, this bag seems like a cost down product of UB series to me. In addition to the size and capacity, the strap, the thinner material, the general protection and down to zipper puller are not as good as the UD series. In the end, regarding its tag price, "you pay what you get" works again.
