I am the owner of way too many bags, all brands, including other Thinktank bags. I was not sure about this bag and had asked ThinkTank with a list of my hear if this bag could work for me. They recommended getting the larger Retro bag which I already own. That said I deliberated for several weeks and finally bit the bullet and bought this bag. It is holding 2 Fuji XE1 bodies, an 18-55 zoom, 55-200 zoom, 100mm zeiss macro, 60mm Fuji, 35mm 1.4 Fuji, 14mm Fuji, Ipad, and lots of accessories including the new fold up hoodman. This bag holds a lot of stuff and is extremely comfortable to wear and work out of. It is most certainly my go to bag for a whole day out in the city or the woods.

I have owned several camera bags and usually end up not liking them for one reason or another. I purchased the Sling 20 and I have to say, it is probably the best bag I've owned. I like how you can carry it on your shoulder or across your chest and it stays! It is light but very well padded to protect your gear. It is my every day bag as I carry my camera with me at all times. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the strap tends to creep. I'm only 5'2" and I have to have it adjusted as far as it will go. I finally solved the issue by putting a couple of small binder clips on it to prevent it from slipping.

This bag is big enough for a 200mm prime (hood inverted), a T3i with attached 25-135mm (hood inverted), a speed light, and room to spare! The sling works great but I really bought it because it converted to the waist pack. it took some time fiddling with it but I got it cinched and it doesn't tip forward like all the others that I tried! Plus it does not look like a camera bag which is nice. I just field tested using it for a zoo trip which lasted roughly 6 hours. My back didn't hurt or my shoulders. It carried the weight of a T3i, attached 25-135mm, 200mm prime, a large wallet, nokia 1020, my car keys and my child's fisher price camera. The tablet space went the zoo tickets and my phone. I used it as a waist pack for 90% of the time. I did sling it once. I still give it 5 stars. It made changing lens an easy thing to do. I could do it without putting a bag down in a crowd. For once I didn't lose any shots because my gear wasn't at the ready. Finally I got to keep up with the kids and my husband. It also rained while we were there, and the rain cover is easy to get out while you have it on as a waist pack. It did cover the entire thing and was secure. Some Issues: There is not extra loops to attach small monopod or tripod, but I am sure I can think of something. Plus you cannot change the shoulder it slings on. I lost the fit when I took it off and on. I had to keep readjusting. But that is a miner item for me since I have been looking for a waist bag that will not tip when you fill it up. This did not tip at all. I found if you cinch it loose it will tip but cinch it tight and it won't tip. When I mean tight I do not mean cut off the blood, I mean cinch until it is fits you. I am not a small person but I did have some of the belt just hanging there because it is attached to itself. You get a weird left over loop once you adjust. I ended up folding it in on itself. Overall I am happy with the bag. It fit better in the front than in the back.

I'm a pro photographer who uses this bag for traveling when I don't want or need to take every piece of equipment I own along. I have the inside compartment divided into three sections and here's what I fit into the bag for my travels: in the middle section, I have a Nikon D700 without vertical grip with a Nikon 17-35mm 2.8 attached facing down; in another section, I have a Nikon SB-900 flash along with a Nikon 50mm 1.4G lens; and in the last section I carry my Nikon 105mm 2.8 macro lens. So, in all, I can carry three lenses, one flash, and a full-frame body. Not bad. In the front zippered section, I can carry memory cards, batteries, smartphone, papers, wallet, etc. Just be aware that you can't fit a body with an attached grip in this bag, at least not one as big as the D700. What I really love about traveling with this bag is while I'm carrying it on my back, it is very easy to swing around to the front of me for accessing gear or sitting in a taxi or on a train. It sits on my lap while I'm in the taxi and I can access my wallet, smartphone, etc. or my equipment if I need to. As soon as I get out of the taxi, the bag swings back to my back. Very comfortable, convenient, and the bag never leaves my body. It's very comfortable to wear for long periods. You can switch from wearing it across you to just wearing over one shoulder if you get sore. Another benefit is It looks more like a diaper bag than a camera bag, so it goes relatively unnoticed. I use Think Tank equipment every day in my business. They are the best. This bag has the same high quality as all of their other products.

    輕巧方便,一機三鏡 或 一機一鏡加閃燈。 很適合親子旅行時帶。 唯一缺點大概就是前置物袋很擠,放不了太多物品。(電池太肥不好放)

I've had the 20 for about a year. I find it handy and agree with the other comments. Features I would like to see are 1- a "stickier" shoulder belt.. this one slides a bit. 2- small straps along the bottom to hold a monopod or umbrella. 3- a bit larger waterproof cover and 4- slightly more give in the front and rear pockets.
