Zoom In

The briefcase size Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 fits more gear that it appears. A wide angle lens with hood in position, 24-70mm f/2.8 with hood in position and 70-200mm f/2.8 with hood reversed all fit vertically into this slim shoulder bag. Now it’s the photographer’s choice to attach a gripped or standard DSLR to the short lenses. The Expansion Zipper increases the depth of the Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 to fit a gripped DSLR with a lens attached, inside the main compartment.

1 Expansion Zipper increases depth to fit a pro size DSLR with standard zoom lens attached, in main compartment.
3 Genuine leather handles are built into each Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bag for comfort and long term durability. The handle clasp can be used to tie the two handles together, for convenience, while carrying the bag or kept undone, while actively shooting, for rapid access to photo gear.
4 The expandable front pocket has retractable divider to split the pocket for carrying two pro size DSLR bodies. Retracting the divider creates one large pocket for carrying a notebook or paperwork. When the notebook or camera bodies are removed, the pocket flattens to reduce bulkiness.
5 Discrete fabric loops on both sides and bottom of the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags are specifically placed for connecting the Urban Disguise Attachment Straps kit (sold separately). The Urban Disguise Attachment Straps help expand bag capacity by connecting Modular, Skin, or Multimedia components to either side of the Urban Disguise V2.0 and strapping a tripod to the bottom of the bag. The Urban Disguise Attachment Straps and accessory components are sold separately.
To travel easier, any large Urban Disguise V2.0 Series shoulder bag incorporates a zippered panel for attaching the bag to the extended handle of most rolling luggage.  The zipper at the bottom of the panel can be closed when not attached to a rolling bag, turning the panel into a spare pocket.
7 An adjustable, non-slip shoulder strap is included with all the bags in the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series. The shoulder strap is also contoured and fully padded to make carrying heavy photo gear over an extended period of time easier to bear.
14 A Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket is included with the Urban Disguise 40 V2.0. The Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket carries 4 CF cards and 3 SD cards. It has red trim for visibility and a business card window for identification. The tether on the Pee Wee PPR keeps it securely fastened wherever it is attached.
8 Zippers are the most vital feature of any camera bag. Think Tank Photo only uses the highest quality zippers and zipper sliders made from YKK. The main compartment and laptop compartment zipper sliders on the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series are also lockable, with any travel-size padlock, as an extra measure of security.
9 Stretchable side pockets on both sides of the Urban Disguise 35 V2.0 are convenient for carrying small water bottles or a cell phone. They even stretch far enough to keep most hot shoe mounted flash units easily accessible.
11 Working photographers should not be without extra business cards. The clear business card pocket on the back of the Urban Disguise V2.0 bags not only function for identification, but also hold a small stack of extra cards. Comes in handy for those potential clients met spontaneously on the street.
10 Similar to most Think Tank products, the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags include a seam-sealed rain cover to protect the bag from dust, rain, snow, and other potentially harmful elements. The term “seam-sealed” refers to the waterproof tape applied to the inside seams of the rain cover fabric. Think Tank bag rain covers feature a built-in tether to keep the rain cover from accidentally flying away with a gust of wind.
12 Attach the Shoulder Harness V2.0 accessory (sold separately) to carry an Urban Disguise V2.0 bag like a backpack. A backpack is helpful for transporting photo gear, while not actively shooting. Rather than constantly maneuvering with a swinging shoulder bag, wearing an Urban Disguise as a backpack keeps hands free for handling airline or subway tickets, a cell phone, or other luggage.
13 Ballistic nylon fabric is used in all Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags for durability in extreme conditions and a professional appearance.

Overall Product Rating:

An employee at my local camera store recommended this bag to me. I was headed to Dublin and Paris and needed the perfect bag for all my gear. I used this for transit (airplanes, cabs) and was impressed with how much it held. I brought my D700, NEX-5N, 15mm fisheye, 24-105mm, 50mm 1.2, various Lensbaby optics, filters, camera chargers and cables, even my Ipad fit. Material quality and build are top-notch. There are pockets for everything! Using the many dividers, I built up 3 layers of storage in the main compartment (less often used stuff on bottom). The bag fit nicely over the handle of my suitcase, but I usually carried it using the harness (in fact I removed the shoulder strap altogether). I wouldn't use this as a daily shooting bag--I prefer to use a lightweight messenger bag that conforms to my hip, or if I need to carry a lot of gear and need easy access to it, I use the ThinkTank Slingomatic 10. I've bought and sold more bags than I care to admit, but this one is a keeper!

The best shoulder bag I have seen till date. It fits all my equipments, very happy to own this. Quality is its top priority, practicality is the crown on its head !!

Fabulous bag...fits tons. I use it for a mini--mobile video studio--fits small camcorder, microphones, small lights, lenses, cables, batts, AND even my 15" macbook AND a terabyte drive.....all inside. Travel and work papers, wallet, glasses can slide into front sleeves. Small flashlight, waterbottle in side pouches. I bought the shoulder strap deal that makes it a backpack. You can even squish a small tripod under handles.......Really good bag with customizable interior. This bag is obviously a great camera bag but it can house a mobile studio, office and more.....and is an easy carry on for travel!

This is my 3rd ThinkTankPhoto product and yet again it exceeds my expectations. This time I wanted a nondescript bag that would hold a growing Fuji X-Pro system comrpising 2 bodies, 5 lenses, iPad, flash and lots of accessories for travel photography. I also wanted to strap a Feisol Ultra Traveller Tripod to the bottom (using the strap kit) and be able to switch to a backpack (using the harness) when I get tired of lugging it on my shoulder. I have found that the UD40 works really well using a two layer configuration, lenses across the bottom and cameras across the top. Access couldn't be easier, no fighting to get cameras in an out, just one zip, grab a camera and i'm ready to shoot. My iPad with folio case fits the outer zip pocket (behind the flap) and the front organiser holds all the usual small stuff - passport, SD Pixel Pocket Rocket, iPhone, filters, batteries, cleaning kit etc. The rain cover fits neatly into one of the side stretch pockets, so its easier to access and helps reduce the overall depth (especially when used as a 2nd Airport Carry On). I also strap the backpack harness pack to the other side (using the strap kit). I dont intend using the front expandable pocket for dSLR bodies but rather to hold a gortex shell jacket. The UD40's build quality is first rate, I expect to get many years of service, as I've had from my other two TTP products. Highly recommended!

got this bag after a second look, and glad I did. I hold more than I would have thought, and more than I should carry, but gives the flexibility to bring along what is needed. the exterior is the right size and doesn't scream "CAMERA".

I own an Artificial Intelligence V2, a Hubba Hiney, an airport take-off and a Logistics Manager. I'd give each a 5 star rating and recommend them highly to others. These made me as big a fan of ThinkTank as anyone around. So when I needed a shoulder bag to work out of in candid situations, one that would carry 2-3 lenses, a body and maybe a flash I turned to Think Tank again. After reading about the many choices this seemed to be 'the' one I needed. It fits everything I wanted just as I needed. It's just the right size for what I wanted. This is the first ThinkTank bag that disappointed. There are too many bells and whistles but no matter. The problem is the top opening to the bag is just too cramped for quick, easy access to gear. It's just a little too hard to work out of. It carries everything I wanted just fine but the bag doesn't open wide enough. I'm not a big guy and my hands are average size but reaching in to find things isn't comfortable. I wish the zippers went further around each side or the bag opened wider in some way.
