Features:
1 Expansion Zipper increases depth to fit a pro size DSLR with standard zoom lens attached, in main compartment.
2 The Urban Disguise 50 V2.0 fits a standard 3 lens DSLR kit and up to a 15.4” laptop in a separate padded compartment.
3 The Urban Disguise V2.0 Series design features a new front organizer pocket that is easily accessible on the front flap. The stylized zipper opens wide for quick access and the gusseted pocket prevents loose items from falling out.
4 Genuine leather handles are built into each Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bag for comfort and long term durability. The handle clasp can be used to tie the two handles together, for convenience, while carrying the bag or kept undone, while actively shooting, for rapid access to photo gear.
5 The expandable front pocket has retractable divider to split the pocket for carrying two pro size DSLR bodies. Retracting the divider creates one large pocket for carrying a notebook or paperwork. When the notebook or camera bodies are removed, the pocket flattens to reduce bulkiness.
6 Discrete fabric loops on both sides and bottom of the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags are specifically placed for connecting the Urban Disguise Attachment Straps kit (sold separately). The Urban Disguise Attachment Straps help expand bag capacity by connecting Modular, Skin, or Multimedia components to either side of the Urban Disguise V2.0 and strapping a tripod to the bottom of the bag. (Lightning Fast component shown attached with Urban Disguise Attachment Straps)
0 To travel easier, any large Urban Disguise V2.0 Series shoulder bag incorporates a zippered panel for attaching the bag to the extended handle of most rolling luggage. The zipper at the bottom of the panel can be closed when not attached to a rolling bag, turning the panel into a spare pocket.
9 An adjustable, non-slip shoulder strap is included with all the bags in the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series. The shoulder strap is also contoured and fully padded to make carrying heavy photo gear over an extended period of time easier to bear.
16 A Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket is included with the Urban Disguise 50 V2.0. The Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket carries 4 CF cards and 3 SD cards. It has red trim for visibility and a business card window for identification. The tether on the Pee Wee PPR keeps it securely fastened wherever it is attached.
10 Zippers are the most vital feature of any camera bag. Think Tank Photo only uses the highest quality zippers and zipper sliders made from YKK. The main compartment and laptop compartment zipper sliders on the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series are also lockable, with any travel-size padlock, as an extra measure of security.
11 Stretchable side pockets on both sides of the Urban Disguise 50 V2.0 are convenient for carrying small water bottles or a cell phone. They even stretch far enough to keep most hot shoe mounted flash units easily accessible.
12 Working photographers should not be without extra business cards. The clear business card pocket on the back of the Urban Disguise V2.0 bags not only function for identification, but also hold a small stack of extra cards. Comes in handy for those potential clients met spontaneously on the street.
13 Similar to most Think Tank products, the Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags include a seam-sealed rain cover to protect the bag from dust, rain, snow, and other potentially harmful elements. The term “seam-sealed” refers to the waterproof tape applied to the inside seams of the rain cover fabric. Think Tank bag rain covers feature a built-in tether to keep the rain cover from accidentally flying away with a gust of wind.
14 Attach the Shoulder Harness V2.0 accessory (sold separately) to carry an Urban Disguise V2.0 bag like a backpack. A backpack is helpful for transporting photo gear, while not actively shooting. Rather than constantly maneuvering with a swinging shoulder bag, wearing an Urban Disguise as a backpack keeps hands free for handling airline or subway tickets, a cell phone, or other luggage.
15 Ballistic nylon fabric is used in all Urban Disguise V2.0 Series bags for durability in extreme conditions and a professional appearance.

This would have been by __nth TT to alternate with the Airport Check-In if I wanted to take my DSLR together w/ my 15" Dell to work everyday. As usual the design and craftsmanship is excellent ..... only problem is that the laptop compartment does not allow my 15" Dell to be zipped up. This same notebook fits into my Artificial Intelligence 15 V2.0 with ease. I wished that your sizing would have been more consistent. This is definitely going back.

This bag does everything I needed it to do. Carry a 13" MBP, D300s with grip and medium and wide zooms. Plus 70-200 fits off the body. Got all the usual accessories plus an iPad and it deals with the weight well and is still comfortable while on the road. Thanks Think Tank!

So, this review is for the Urban Disguise50 V1.0. I have owned it for over a year now and every time I use it (which is everyday) I think to myself, I really need to write a review for this bag. I am in fact not a photographer but a field going oilfield engineer that was looking for a tough bag to lug my tools around the world with. It fits my two laptops, 4 hard drives, warren of cables, 2 passports, 2 wallets, and so much more with ease. It has spent 6 months in the hottest deserts of the middle east and 100,000 miles on planes and still looks new. It passes for a laptop bag every time I carry it on even though it often weighs more than my checked luggage. I finally managed to leave a mark on it (ever so slightly) when a bit of Borneo mud didn't come out of the shoulder strap. In short, if what you carry is important, than carry it in a think tank. Thanks for an excellent product guys, great website, great bag and if I ever manage to wear it out, I'll be back for another! Thanks again, -z$

This bag fits my camera with 70-200 f2.8 attached!! Lots of room, well designed, superior quality, and the strap is comfortable

Great bag, great concept. Need to specify laptop dimensions. I am a serious amateur with some nice equipment. However, when I travel it is for my day job and I need a business shoulder bag/backpack. This looks perfect so I purchased one today to carry my D700, an extra lens (maybe two), my lab notebook, my Bose headphones and sundry cables. Unfortunately, my 15.4" screen laptop didn't fit...couldn't close the zipper like another post mentioned. Thankfully I kept the receipt and left the tags on. Returned it for a Urban Disguise 60 in which my Lenovo T60p fits perfectly.

I've had this bag pretty much since it came out--which must be several years by now. It has served me well at events and even one wedding. If I carry one camera back and one lens (24-105 mm or 17-55mm) on a neck strap, I can get the second back and everything else I need for a basic shoot, into this bag: specifically a 70-200 2.8, 85mm, (if you "stack" you can carry a 35mm or 50mm, plus the 85mm) 100mm 2.8 Macro, 580 flash and RRS off camera bracket, memory cards, batteries, lens covers, filters, lens pen and all the other photo widgets we need. I've used the laptop section to store laptops and…small reflectors. The bag is easy to load and unload and after at least two years, shows little wear.

Wow, impressed! Awesome build quality and hidden features that I enjoy discovering. Picked this up because I needed to consolidate essential gear from a Pelican 1510 and a Kata rucksack into this bag, and it looks like a go for my Euro-trip! Tight squeeze, for sure, but that's okay.

I wanted a compact bag to transport my Mamiya 645 equipment and Macbook Pro while traveling but also something I could use when walking around once on site and this bag sure fits the bill. Also, build quality is second to none. I've used bags from pretty much every large brand there is and I can honestly say I will stick with ThinkTank from now on, fantastic!

LOVE this bag. I carried my Nikon D300s, 13" MacBook pro, several lenses, all sorts of cords, adapters, accessories and more, and it performed like a champ. On a recent 35 day assignment to shoot for a cookbook throughout Mexico we took 13 flights and umpteen trains, taxis and automobiles, and there's not even scratch on it. The zippers and stitching are top notch, and I kept finding new features and pockets throughout the trip.... Would highly recommend it!

In a nutshell, this bag is awesome. Fits all my needs as a concert photographer and then some. Full review at http://nicksemradphotography.com/think-tank-urban-disguise-50-v2-0-review/

I just purchased this bag at my local Think Tank retailer, I tried my gear in several different models, I narrowed my choice to a Sling-O-Matic 10 or this UD50. The UD50 takes my 60D with 70-200 f/4 mounted (hood reversed) with ease, and has enough room for my two other lenses, 430 EX ii flash, and accessories. Quality is excellent, there are lots of dividers and extras included. Like two other reviews before mine said, with my 15" MacBook Pro (2011 model with 15.4" screen) the top of the compartment could not be zipped closed. Upon further investigation I found that there is a narrow pad in the bottom of the compartment that was standing upright and could be pushed down flat, allowing the compartment to zip with my MBP. I use a Speck case on my MBP and it is a very tight fit, possibly to the point where it will damage the bag over time, without the Speck case it would be about perfect. I also use a Digital Holster 10 v2.0, a Whip it Out, and an Artificial Intelligence 15 v2.0, all with great results.

The Urban Disguise 50 V2.0 has become my go to bag. I keep the bag loaded with the gear I use the most, so I am ready to go at a moments notice knowing I have the gear I need. On the road, it is a great overflow bag allowing me to carry extra gear the doesn't fit in my larger bags. At the same time, it allows me to have a camera ready to go if something of interest pops up and I want to catch a few photos. The bag is constructed of quality materials and put together well.....I expect to be carrying this bag for some time. I debated over which size to purchase, but feel the 50 fits my needs and can be stored easily in almost any plane in the overhead storage compartment or shoved under the seat. Great product!

Aug. 2012 After reading the reviews here I was concerned the Urban Disquise 50 might not be large enough to hold a 15" notebook. I recently purchased the 50 V2.0 at a local pro camera store in Portland, knowing they had a no-questions asked return policy. Note, I already knew the 50 was large enough to meet my photo needs...and agree with others here who have commented on its quality, versatility, etc. Once purchased, I took the 50 to a computer store and, under the watchful but helpful eye of the staff, proceeded to place every 15" notebook I could find into it one at a time. Kudos to their patience and trust. Result: Every 15" MacBook Pro (both standard and retina display version) went in and closed up fine. The same was true for the HP Envy and a couple of other brands and models I forget. I posted the date of this comment at the top in hopes this will help those who are considering purchasing a new notebook/bag combo at this time. I can only guess that perhaps the older, bulkier 15" notebooks might not fit, or even V1.0 of the 50 might be the problem. Summary: ThinkTank makes great gear at reasonable prices. That's no surprise. I bought with confidence in the quality and usefulness of the product. Sometimes, all you can do is try it and exchange it if things don't work out. Thanks to all who have posted. Your comments were helpful.

After owning the Urban Disguise 50 for several years, I still consider it the best camera bag I've ever purchased. It's an all-around quality product, and that's what counts.

this was my fist Think Tank bag.I own four Think tank bags now and i'm happy with all of them. Always the best quality both materials and workmanship.

I like it. I use it. It is a bit small for my D4's to go into the front pockets with the RRS plates. The bag is a wee bit heavy on the front side when loaded with the big Nikons. As a carry around with a D300 or a Lumix or Fuji X100s plus small strobes it is killer. Like all ThinkTank products, the workmanship is excellent.

I have this bag for 3 years and it's my main main bag for street photography and concert photography. It's strong and solid build and a good protection for my D800 and my 24-70mm and 70-200mm glass. Keep up the good works!

Love this bag, fits all my photo gear, 15.4" dell XPS with 9cell battery attached, iPod with room to spare. A hint for 15" laptops: make sure the bottom foam is flat on the bottom -then your laptop will fit with the zipper closed.

Great bag with room for improvement. I totally luv it. It is of high quality material and seems it will survive a lifetime. Lots of pockets and zippers that you can store everything you have separated from each other. Big laptop compartment, memory cards holder, key chain holder, loads of dividers and even many extra provided, great professional look yet doesn't seem as a camera bag, rain cover, metal holders, comfy leather handle... and many more great features. Here comes where the improvements are needed for the v3.0 (and send me a free one when you make it with these considerations). 1. The pad/cushion on the shoulder strap has TOO much grip (it literally sticks), I need to move the bag from my back to front to use it, it moves my clothes with it, or you can make it loose, not sewed so the strap moves inside it. 2. The opening of the main compartment SHOULD be wider, it is not easy to put/pickup stuff from it fast. May be a zipper that goes all the way down would be great. 3. It is not light. At this quality and size I can not ask for much here but if it was lighter it would be a dream bag. I only have it for a short time and will come back if something more comes up. Thank you think tank for such a great bag. Waiting for my v3.0 bag :)

This is a nice bag with plenty of storage space. My only complaint is the main compartment does not open sufficiently to easily retrieve a full-frame DSLR. I have to hold the zippers apart to pull out the camera, and even then it's still difficult without a third hand. The Retrospective bags are so much better in that respect.
