After decades of shooting with Nikon DSLRs, I finally bit the bullet and switched to the new Nikon Z-mount mirrorless platform. With a full assortment of Think Tank gear, the lens cases for the larger F-mount lenses are too big for the smaller Z-mount glass. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Think Tank Lens Case Duo 10 case that is a perfect fit for several of my new Z-mount zoom lens. I just returned from a 3-week trip to Europe shooting street photography in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany. The Think Tank gear….from the Cable Management pouches to the Duo 10 Lens Case proved invaluable to making the trip more successful. After 14 years, I remain a happy Think Tank customer! AustraliaLens Case Duo 10 fits the Leica 90mm SL lens and hood
With so many different lens cases and so many different lenses it's a big task for companies like thinkTANK to provide exact sizes. I took my Leica lenses into a local thinkTANK stockist and tried the range of lens case duos and chose them based on size. Some fit well including the lens hood and others are best without the lens hood. I wanted cases with minimal bulk and for protection of the lenses and wasn't concerned about the lens hoods as some of these are large and bulky. Ease of use, was another factor and I've found the lens case duo series very easy to use and with minimal bulk. I'm very happy about the level of protection for my lenses provided by the materials and padding in the lens cases Duo 10 fits the Leica 90mm SL lens with the lens hood fitted Duo 15 fits the Leica 16-35mm SL lens without the lens hood Duo 15 fits the Leica 50mm SL lens without the lens hood Duo 15 fits the Leica 24-70mm SL lens with the lens hood fitted
United States United StatesGood lens case, but snug for Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8
Good lens case. The fabric is very good quality. The combination of a top and side zipper really helps when trying to fit in a lens that *just* barely fits, which is the case of the Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 for Sony E mount. When I bought this the Lens Case Duo 10 for the Tamron, I based my decision on the wide of the lens listed by Tamron. Bad idea! While the Duo 10 fits the 17-70mm perfectly when the lens hood is not connected, if I store the lens with the lens hood, I can *barely* fit it in. I have to open both the top and side zippers, fit the lens in, and then zip it up. But it *does* fit! Lesson here: add in about a 0.5" to the diameter to your lens if you're sizing for storage with the lens hood.

I am very pleased with the snug length fit of the lens inside the case. I LOVE that you can access the lens from the top or side of the case. I am using it for my Canon lens. My only disappointment is the case's circumference fit is not as snug on my lens as the length. I personally added padding to achieve the perfect fit. Thank you Think Tank. SD
