A hidden gem of a product
I have been working on various DIY versions of a tripod holder like this for some time, but am not able to spend the time required on it. This system works very well. The front clips are sturdy, simple, and you can set-up a tripod quickly without unhooking. I'm using this for a much heavier system - a 500f4 lens and full gimbal head. doing the over-the-shoulder method works, but is uncomfortable over long periods. Plus, your camera is back behind you and can get hung-up. It's much safer and more nimble in front of you. The one improvement needed is an easier and more universal way to hook the legs to the pack or a hip-belt. The suggested method of looping through the elastic of the bottom of the pack is not really practical. But, I think with a little work a loop around the hipbelt or even an open stiff "hook-like holster" might work. I'm still working on that, but I'm sure will get it resolved.

Convenient and safer
I bought this for my Backlight 26L. This is a very safe and convenient way to carry my camera while on its tripod. I used to carry everything over my shoulder, which wasn't always the safest way to carry stuff around. This system lets me keep the camera in front of me at all times, without the worry of dropping everything. It's a great addition to my equipment.

Love the suspension kit
I have carried the tripod by hand or tied in the backpack. When hiking about 2 miles to my favorite spots which was pain in should and back due to unbalanced weight on my shoulder. Now it saves my back and shoulders and I have the freedom in my hands. Thank you for the strap design and the idea.

It's essential for heavy tripod.
I ordered this for panorama photography with RRS TA-4 and FG-02 fluid gimbal which is heavier than any regular ball head. When heading towards the spots, I might need to walk more than 1+ miles which I feel heavy and tired when I get there. When using this kit, gives me a lot of freedom on my hands and reduce the fatigue when carrying which I can carry another stuff like filters or heavy lens bag or cart. Thank you for the design and
