This is great. A bit snug for my laptop but no issues there. I would like to have an extension of the area that shields the top/head. Something removable or extendable. I have a south-facing deck and the top of this does not extend far enough to shield the screen completely
Hi Ruth, I'm not sure if you've spotted it, but the Pixel Sunscreen does come with an extension, take a look at this product video - https://youtu.be/kKP8Wo2XtkI?t=34 If you have the extension, it should be in the top pocket and attach via hook & look to go over your head and make a nice little tent for better darkness while working in sunny conditions. Pixel Sunscreen V2.0
So I purchased this a while back for use while photographing the solar eclipse and controlling the two cameras with Solar Eclipse Maestro. The pros are that it works as advertised, and made it easy to work with the program controlling the camera on the day of and made it easy to check focus without any glare. The biggest con was the fact that the entire thing is black so on a hot day it soaks up the radiation from the sun making the interior fairly hot, which is not good for computers, or people. If I could make a recommendation for the V.3 it would be to cover the exterior with sliver/reflective material to prevent it from getting so warm.
When covering sports and transmitting from the field this Sunscreen is great. It is well thought out and a pleasure to use and easily folds up into a compact package. Really like how you can collapse it down to protect the laptop from dust while out shooting.

The Pixle Sunscreen is the perfect hideaway for your laptop. The piece is very well built. Simple to use and it gets dark inside. I live in the desert and the ambient light is a killer when trying to see your computer screen in the field. This is a great and essential piece of my everyday equipment. I use it every time I go on location. I also shoot boudoir on location outside and the privacy it affords me when others are around offers me and my client privacy and I still get the immediate post processing done without a hassel from the back row. Thanks for all your great products - EVERYTHING YOU MAKE IS PERFECT.

Great product, helps a lot in making images clear from reflections when displaying of editing images in less than ideal conditions. Big enough to see the screen from a comfortable angle. Lots of access holes for attaching power and external drives that are missing on some competing products. Folds up fairly small.
I would have given it a 5 star if the inner black surface had been a totally matt / velvet finish with zero reflections
