My passion for visual arts began as a young teenager working as an apprentice in repro for the print industry.
Soon after I moved into the graphic design and advertising world. For nearly two decades I worked in various roles such as a layout compositor, high end scanner operator, traditional and digital retoucher, production and studio manager, and art director. I worked for many award winning Australian and British design and advertising agencies in this time.
I decided I needed a change and I was drawn to exploring the possibility of turning my beloved hobby of photography into a sustainable career. Being largely self-taught at the time, I ventured back to University to do some post grad study in photography at the University of the Arts London, LCC.
My photography work covers a relatively broad spectrum of genres. Advertising & PR to portraiture, fashion, beauty and a sprinkling of food.
Born and bred in Australia, I moved to London where I lived and worked between 2000 - 2018. I’ve since settled back with my family in Melbourne. I dislike talking about myself in the third person, I’m fond of a strawberry milkshake and if you cut me… I bleed Chelsea Football Club blue.
