SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY
As a sports photographer, getting your gear to the game is half the battle. Gripped bodies and long lenses are heavy, yet delicate, so you need well-protected mobile carrying solution. And when you get to the game, you need to move quickly and change lenses easily. Think Tank offers carrying solutions designed specifically for sports photographers who travel far to work in crowded spaces and in all weather conditions.
Digital Holster® 150
Quick access and transport for your super telephoto zoom.
With the versatility of a 150–600mm, you don’t need a backpack full of lenses to shoot wildlife or sports photography. Instead, a camera holster dedicated to just one body with a 150–600mm attached is an ideal solution. The Digital Holster 150 is a top-loading solution that minimizes the weight and bulk of bigger bags so you can focus on the action. Wear the holster comfortably on a belt or over the shoulder, so you’re ready to shoot at a moment’s notice.

Shape Shifter® 17 V2.0
The Shape Shifter carries a huge amount of gear in a very small, compact package, making it significantly easier to travel on airplanes, buses and subways. The backpack works especially well for sports photography if your maximum size lens is a 70-200mm f/2.8. Photographers often pair the Shape Shifter with our Glass Taxi, splitting the carry on weight into two pieces. This strategy helps avoid an overloaded roller yet complies with the two-piece carry on restriction.

Glass Limo™
The Glass Limo holds a 500mm f/4 with a gripped body attached or a 600mm unattached. Alternatively, it also fits a Nikon 200-400mm f/4 with the body attached. Similar to our Glass Taxi, the Glass Limo is very compact and streamlined. It’s ideal for sports situations where you only need one big lens. You can also expand the capacity by attaching lens changers or modular pouches to the front and side panels.

Airport Accelerator™
When traveling through an airport, there’s an advantage to having the smallest, lightest luggage possible. A backpack appears to be lighter than a roller, so some photographers prefer the Airport Accelerator — especially if they’re concerned about the check-in weight at various airlines. The backpack will hold a 600mm f/4 with hood reversed, two gripped bodies, a 70-200mm and accessories. And of course, if you’re planning to shoot on terrain where you can’t roll a roller, this backpack is an ideal solution.

Modular™ Essentials Set V3.0
Think Tank modular pouches are lightly padded with foam and designed to rotate on our speedbelts. They are usually used to hold an extra lens or necessary accessories during the event. A typical sports setup positions the SlimChanger on front of your body, providing convenient access to a teleconverter, memory cards, wallet, other small accessories. A separate lens pouch holds your 70-200mm with room for one other lens case if necessary. Our belt rotation system enables you to push the pieces to the back of your body when kneeling down, then pull them forward to access your gear. When using a modular setup, sports photographers typically carry one or two cameras on each shoulder so they don’t need another bag. We call this an “active shooting solution.” Be sure to always carry an extra lens pouch so that you can change lenses without juggling.
