ThinkTank Filter Nest
This is the 5th one that my wife and I have purchased, so we obviously love the product. I have never gotten anything less than an excellent product of any kind from Mindshift/ThinkTank. All excellent, so you are our go-to company. 2 years ago my wife and I, hit black ice during a Montana blizzard and we rolled our jeep Wrangler multiple time down a steep embankment. The hadtop was torn off, our full roll cage was mangled, as were we and a 150 yard debrie field was left in the wake. We were carrying all our photo gear in multiple ThinkTank backpacks and cases, which were strewn all over that debrie field... not a single damage piece of camera gear, nor damaged bag or case... I wish all our belongings and winter camping gear had been so lucky, including us and our dog!

It is a nest!
It nests all my 77mm circular filters and a couple of sizing rings. It’s well done, attaches to belt and to tripod. It’s not bulky and is feather light. A great idea is the removable filter holder insert that can rest in the stone bag during the shoot.

Works Great in Mindshift Backlight
I use the inner insert with the flap folded open in the narrow side slot of the Mindshift Backlight backpack. It holds my 82mm and 77mm filters well with space to tuck a microfiber lens cloth along the folded open flap. This is a great space saver for stowing 8 filters in an organized, easy-to-access way. Unlike other filter cases in the market, the material of the inner insert is thin and perfect for inside the already padded area of the backpack.

Filter Nest
Really nice product; my filters seem very well protected in this case, and the padding is nice. I have no worries about my filters getting scratched. I’ll take off 1 star because it’s big. You can’t just fit this case into any random opening in your pack—it’s got to have a place. For me, a 5-start unit would be half this size—hold 4 filters with the same type of padding. That kind of case would fit into holes in your pack, on your belt, in a jacket pocket. Pricey? Probably more so than most 4-filter cases, but I’d buy 2 or 3 of them if they were available.

Much more useful than I expected
It is SO MUCH easier to transport and access my filters with this case - I just didn't expect to like it so much. I could easily see which filter I needed since the edge with the writing was visible - and I could easily pop in a filter after removing it from a lens without wrestling with a plastic filter case.
